We are currently seeking positive and energetic Office Manager to join our front office team. BENEFITS: * Competitive pay based on skills and experience ($14 - $18/hr) * 50% childcare discount for up to 2 children (subject to availability and job performance) * Company-paid Health Membership program that includes unlimited Telehealth and Urgent Care visits * Free CPR/First-aid certification course * Up to 18 paid time-off days and holidays each year * Retirement plan with 3% company match * Training opportunities through Goddard Systems University (GSU) * Excellent growth opportunities for right candidates GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: * At least ONE year of prior experience in an office/clerical role, preferably in a licensed childcare center * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Understand and comply with the school’s employment policies * Communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents * Comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare * Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid * Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses * Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances * Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds * Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies * Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved * Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates who wish to be considered for the position of Office Manager must meet one or more of the following criteria: * High School diploma or higher * CDA or active enrollment towards one PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Organizing children’s files and paperwork * Entering family/children’s information into school management system * Answering phone calls, following up with leads, and confirming tours * Building cordial and professional relationships with enrolled families * Managing inventory of supplies and placing orders as needed * Supporting classroom teachers as needed * Scheduling and executing monthly drills for fire, severe weather, and intruder prevention * Coordinating with 3rd party vendors as needed * Fostering community relations via event planning and coordination * Maintaining records and files for Licensing, QA, Fire, Health, and other mandatory inspections * Ensuring parents know what is expected of them and that their children are getting the best education * Providing opportunities for conferences and other events in which parents are made to feel part of the child’s learning experience * Promoting Goddard philosophy and educational objectives to our families and fellow faculty Employment offer is contingent on clean background check from DFPS.
