The CBD Business Management VP is a member of the CBD CFO team, which sits within the broader Consumer Banking Finance and Business Management team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide Finance and Business Management partnership across CBD and the Community Impact Team with a focus on delivering against the firm's long-term commitment to advance racial equity. JPMorgan has committed to harness its expertise in business, policy, and philanthropy and an additional $30 billion over the next five years to provide economic opportunity to underserved communities.
Job Description
Partner the CBD CFO team thru reporting, analysis, and deep dives into results, as needed with the focus to understand and optimize results
Partner with CBD CFO and broader CBD team to prepare Executive reporting packages, business reviews, and other ad hoc reviews for Senior Management
Preparation of periodic and ad hoc analysis to support financial and strategic goals
Develop deep knowledge to become the team's subject matter expert on key focus areas
Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while recommending and identifying enhancements
In partnership with CBD CFO team, lead and govern processes for submitting annual multi-year budgets and forecasts and report total financial performance targets against key metrics on a monthly basis - for Financial Health and Path Forward
Communicate and coordinate effectively across LOBs and corporate function areas
Lead additional one-off and repeatable analyses as required by senior management
Support ad projects as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Professional experience in handling large amount of data, analyzing P&L drivers
4+ years experience in a finance or planning role in consumer banking or financial services
Experience in the consolidation, review, analysis, and presentation of Financials
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to community effectively at various levels of the organization including senior management, communicates effective in written form (e-mails, PitchPro, Excel, PowerPoint)
High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPRO; experience with Tableau, Qlikview or other Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms a plus
Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision making capabilities
Overall branch knowledge and base knowledge of Retail Banking Financial Systems preferred
