Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
Analyzes and evaluates pricing approaches used throughout the organization.
Develops and optimizes processes to ensure consistency and control of pricing.
Conducts rigorous analysis and modeling based on key pricing inputs to develop optimal pricing recommendations.
Leads and directs pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
Works with commercial teams, customer operations members, Directors of Operations and others to effectively manage pricing.
Identifies and highlights key strategic considerations surrounding large pricing requests. Assists with pricing negotiations of customers' proposals.
Consolidates and manages pricing knowledge over time to provide ever greater context for pricing decisions.
Maintains ongoing process improvement (e.g., creates repeatable process for analysis such as customer adoption, win/losses, margin degradation/improvement, price realization). Performs financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.
Improves upon and train others in market based pricing approach. Reviews business accounts to ensure accurate pricing.
Structures and executes various pricing analyses, including projects involving item elasticity, basket penetration, customer growth, and competitive action/reaction.
Collaborates with senior management and the Commercial team to implement newly proposed pricing strategies and initiatives.
Performs other duties as required.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: BS degree or equivalent, MBA highly desired
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience in analyzing, developing and defining pricing structures
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to work across functional areas
Outstanding mathematical, statistical and analytic skills
Excellent process skills
Self-motivated with a track record of taking ownership
Ability to interact with senior management; strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience
High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively and forge relationships
Demonstrated project management skills
Working knowledge of Oracle
Physical Requirements : Ability to access all areas of the facilities, including working at height and in confined spaces.
Other: Work closely with other members of multiple departments across multiple suites and time zones. Some travel will be required.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Chief Operating Officer, but may ultimately report to another in the organization and is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities of their position with a minimum amount of supervision. Must be able to manage the majority of day-to-day problems or issues independently.
