Principal Risk Management Coordinator

Department Overview:

The BRO Manage User team has been created to provide access support for numerous applications to Financial Services departments in Plano, Tulsa and vendor sites. The Principal Coordinator will join the team and be responsible for providing exceptional related services to FS associates, in addition to ad hoc project support. The Principal Coordinator will partner with hiring managers and other POCs to ensure a positive on-boarding experience for our new hires, transfers and other requests. The Principal Coordinator will be the first point of contact for trouble-shooting, guidance, and assistance for a variety of issues related to the provisioning process of FS Associates.

This position will also own risk management of the access request process for Financial Services. This will include partnering with other teams and the IAM Team to ensure provisioning is being performed in accordance with the Capital One Process. This position will also work with these teams to drive compliance to provisioning SLA’s and suggest process improvements when necessary.


The Principal Coordinator must maintain high-level of customer service for associates and provide an exceptional level of responsiveness. Above all the Principal Coordinator will focus on reducing risk for FS by ensuring only the right level of access is requested.


  • Demonstrate ability to create/modify process documentation in support of the access request process.

  • Demonstrate experience of providing a high-level of customer service working directly with end users.

  • Demonstrate diagnostic skills across a broad range of technologies and platforms. This may include working through laptop and desktop hardware and software, associated configuration (network, wireless) and system access.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members).

  • Ability to communicate effectively, including technical issues to non-technical individuals.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple groups both internal and third parties.

  • High degree of customer focus with high understanding customer’s needs of the process and driving process improvements

  • Coordinating individual tasks as part of a broader process initiative

  • Documenting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to decision makers.

  • Tracking and resolving process breakdowns

  • Providing centralized oversight of the process and conducting regular process risk assessments

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in Process Management

  • At least 1 year of experience in GSuite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or Project Management

  • 2 + years of experience in Process management

  • 2 + years of experience in Project management

  • 1 + year of experience in Reporting and Analysis

  • 1 + year of experience in System Administration
