The Senior Account Manager role has the primary focus of establishing/building positive client relationships and identifying value-added business opportunities/solutions for the client. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and works well multitasking and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. This individual has an eye for detail, the ability to develop close working relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Above all, the right person must be client and solution oriented.

We need someone who can be a true partner to our client and cross functional team locally with the ability to support the larger team in delivering solutions. This is an opportunity to join a senior level team within a key account.

About the Person:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will build key stakeholder relationships, deliver best in class service, and implement strategy to enhance our client relationship. Responsibilities include achieving our client contract commitments through sourcing and development of promotional products domestically and internationally, while meeting/exceeding product adoption, revenue, and contribution targets set in the monthly and yearly forecast.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Relationship Management

  • Manage clients proactively and professionally, ensuring their expectations are not only met, but exceeded

  • Prioritize client service, identify and resolve all issues relating to client within agreed SLA?s

  • Build relationships with support departments and key external suppliers, as appropriate

  • Develop strong relationships with both our clients and internal counterparts

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams in the strategic planning and tactical execution of results-driven campaigns for promotional/premium related projects

Operational and Financial Management

  • Overall, monitor campaigns to ensure all deliverables are on target, on brand and are delivered on time and within budget

  • Maintain day-to-day project management working with internal and external stakeholders ensuring all sign offs and deadlines are met in accordance to the critical path timeline

  • Ensure production of accurate RFPs for products based on technical specifications, pre-production samples and OTIF (on time in full) are met

  • Manage brand(s) range development driving commercial stability and executing brand growth strategy

  • Monitor, manage and report on project metrics, including budget and delivery, ensuring achievement of client and internal objectives and budget

  • Identify and communicate potential client efficiencies in terms of procurement patterns, buying cycles, product category focus, sustainability, and alternative POS/Premium development

  • Review assessments of operational and client issues at sites and troubleshoot significant operations/service delivery issues

  • Analyze management information, financial and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget

Strategic Thinking

  • Participate in proactive innovation to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge and identify opportunities to drive adoption and sales

  • Develop market business plans by researching the customers and trends. Identify cross-selling opportunities and act on them

  • Drive thought leadership and strategic deliverables for the future of the brands, identifying great innovative ideas in their infancy

General

  • Work in an independent fashion, solve problems and / or provide options for solutions to review with your manager, communicate resolutions and challenges effectively

  • Multitask, independently manage priorities and lead well under pressure

  • Provide professional presentations to customers as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor?s degree with 6+ years of experience working for a promotional product, or procurement outsource agency, servicing CPG/retail client brand teams

  • Solid background and knowledge in sourcing either POS, Print, Premium, Display production

  • Extensive experience in engaging and influencing cross functionally, particularly across multiple client marketing / brand teams and internal supply chain teams

  • Experience working with both domestic and international supply base

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience building and maintaining strong client facing relationships with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Power point and Excel skills are a must; confident working with/analyzing multiple datasets
