Management Resources has a long-term temporary opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to lend their skills and leadership to a growing financial team. All financial issues will be managed by the Senior Financial Analyst consultant that includes project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. In order to provide decision-making support for future company investments, you will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments in accordance with public reporting requirements. This Senior Financial Analyst will be located in Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial results, summarize key issues, and articulate integral messages to senior management in order to drive existing management reporting

• Provide assistance in ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

• Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to drive improved management reporting by tracking financial results more discreetly and accurately

• Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams

• Build positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership

• Work closely with Functional leads - provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership

• Assess and execute financial analysis in order to optimize business performance

Requirements

The successful Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Track-record in process reengineering and optimization

• Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

• Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management

• Familiarity in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Complex Financial Analysis experience required

• Financial analysis experience desired

• Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field

• CPA/MBA preferred
