Luminator Technology Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us in our Plano, TX office. Senior project manager will report to V.P of Professional Services. In this role, you will manage complex projects to completion, from initiation through delivery to closure. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, customers and 3rd parties to complete distinct projects on time and within budget. As a Senior Project Manager, you will need to be organized and detail-oriented and have substantial experience managing hardware and software projects. Experience in leading a team in a cross-functional environment is required.

Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for working with all departments including sales, professional services, logistics, estimating & quoting, engineering, scheduling, procurement, and finance department to achieve an integrated team approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of assigned projects. This involves creating a plan that is used to monitor and control project progress, and it forms the basis of communication with top management about the projects continued status.

  • Ensures budgets, schedules and technical performance requirements are met.

  • Leading more than one project team and achieving all aspects of the agreed upon quality/performance, schedule and cost goals of assigned projects.

  • Prepare and gain approval of detailed multi-functional project plans that achieves timing goals with the appropriate level of risk management.

  • Monitor and expedite the timely resolution of all contractual issues with the customer.

  • Prepare the contractual document for senior management execution.

  • Act as a primary customer interface to customers and acts as a liaison between all functions.

  • Identify and resolve, with the team, any potential deviations from the approved project plan. Manage the critical path to achieve agreed upon milestones on time.

  • Communicates program status, issues and actions as necessary. Chair team meetings and document meetings and decisions. Maintain project documentation.

  • Contributes to process improvement initiatives.

  • Direct all phases of the program from requirements analysis, initial planning through all phases to successful product delivery and contract close out.

  • Develop and maintain the project schedule to include the internal and external milestones and phases as established by the respective project teams.

  • Leads the project team in risk identification and mitigation planning.

  • Lead project teams composed of multi-disciplined, matrix personnel to ensure realization of project objectives.

  • Maintain program financial forecasts, report progress to financial objectives.

  • Work with cross functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts for the purposes of resource planning.

  • Direct the efforts of multiple team members and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Navigate challenges and conflicts to ensure working towards a common goal.

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to an audience of individuals from all levels within the organization.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team player willing to perform tasks outside typical project management responsibilities

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems), Business, or related field

  • 8+ years plus of project/program management experience

  • Solid understanding of Project Management Methodologies.

  • PMP certification highly desired

  • Thorough knowledge of and proficient using MS-Office Suite (Word, Project, Power Point, Excel)

  • Experience using Monday.com highly desired

  • Proficient/experience with Jira

Travel:

  • Travel required: 10%
