The organization is seeking a Software/Hardware Test Engineer.


The Test Engineer is responsible for establishing test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and performs tests at the quality control stage of the development process.

  • Develop Production Test Equipment that Automates Existing Manual Methods

  • Sets up test equipment required for testing

  • Creates acceptance and functional test procedures

  • Works with production test team to train them on test set up and procedures

  • Gathers and studies information regarding materials and components to be used in development.

  • Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines the specific testing conditions to be applied.

  • Tests new products; develops systems to gather digital data during testing.

  • Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results.

  • Identifies any problems with new products; makes adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems.

  • Continues testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.

  • Drafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problems.

  • Develops ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.

  • Bachelor?s degree in computer science or software/hardware engineering preferred.

  • 3+ years of related experience required.

  • Experience with electrical design, specifically working with Microcontrollers, and analog and digital experience

  • Experience programming in C# and/or C++

  • Experience with mechanical design program SolidEdge or other 3D design software
