SummaryDrivers, drive and operate company owned trucks to transport frac sand from company site to customer site, complies with all local, state and federal laws governing the operation of a commercial motor vehicle.Essential FunctionsiDrives truck from the loading site to the customers locationConduct pre- and post-trip inspections, notify supervisor of mechanical or maintenance defects or concernsMaintain DOT logs Comply with DOT Rules and RegulationsAdheres to Company policies and work requirementsFollow all applicable traffic lawsParticipate in all job related and safety training Adherence to all company, federal and state rules, policies and safety regulationsWill be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays and nights as required for the position Attendance is an essential function of this positionOther duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.i Must be able to pass Fit Test requirements and medical exam as outlined by OSHA.Education/ExperienceMust be at least 25 years old, must comply with FMCSR requirements, have 18 months of operating a 48' or longer tractor trailer, off-road driving, driving in inclement weather, thei ability to pass drug test, criminal background check and have no more than three moving violations in a three year period.ii Pneumatic experience is a plus.Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend maps, road signs, written safety instructions, ability to maintain DOT logs as required. Math Ability:Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.i Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to define and solve problems.Computer Skills: List skillsCertificates and Licenses: Current Texas CDL-A Driver's LicenseSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
