  • Evolve the existing program strategy and foundational framework related to the risk management functions for Technology and Systems and Information Security Risk

  • Evolve current-state risk management processes and capabilities

  • Collaborate with first line technology teams to develop control environment, KPI’s, and KRIs to measure the effectiveness of their programs.

  • Support risk management by tracking and making senior leaders aware of the effectiveness and maturation of the general IT and Information Security control environment.

  • Participate in the establishment and implementation of the Bank’s testing and implementation of appropriate technology plans, products, and control techniques

  • Identify emerging vulnerabilities, evaluates associated risks and threats, and recommend countermeasures where necessary

  • Ensure data and governance in the development of technology and information security policies, programs and procedures and oversee the dissemination of standards and procedures.

  • Direct and develop an IT Risk team by way of task management, instruction, training, and work product reviews.

  • Track the progress of open control issues, including those identified by internal audit, external examinations, and various sources.

  • Help support and challenge significant initiatives across the organization to make sure all pertinent risks are identified, assessed, monitored and reported throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Partner and influence across the organization to achieve work completion through individuals not under the IT Risk Office direct control. Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills and the ability to secure results through others.

  • At least 8 years of IT Risk or IT Audit experience required

  • 5+ years of team management experience required

  • 5+ year consulting experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • CISSP, CRISC, or CISM required

  • Broad knowledge and background in multiple technologies, operating systems, software, communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required

  • Experience leading and developing a strategic, comprehensive enterprise technology, information security and data risk management program

  • Experience leading IT control design and compliance assessments strongly preferred

  • Experience leading multiple concurrent teams in assessing current state process flows, identifying key risks and controls, finding design gaps, and in proposing improvements preferred

  • Experience developing IT and IT Risk/Audit key performance indicators and key risk indicators preferred

  • Previous work experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with CISO, IT management, staff, vendors and consultants preferred

  • Familiarity with SOX, GLBA, ITIL, and FFIEC guidelines preferred
