RealPage is looking to add a Director of Project Management to our fast-growing company! As the Director of Project Management, you will provide overall project management for multi-product implementations and functions as an advisor between client and product implementation teams to ensure a smooth and coordinated deployment. You will be responsible for relationship management, and corporate communication of high-profile clients. You will also work on complex project teams as the contact person for decisions about schedules. They resolve problems caused by dependencies. Through this work, these managers enable solution deployment, issue resolution, risk management and return on investment (ROI). The Director will mentor the entire team to ensure everyone is involved and passionate about the tasks at hand. The Director will be measured on client satisfaction on the solution deployed.

  • Manage multi-product implementation projects from beginning to end including planning through project post-mortem

  • Define project scope, risks and deliverables that support implementation projects

  • Coordinate the creation of project plans with RealPage product and client implementation teams

  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones

  • Ensure client business goals are defined and achieved in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

  • Update and maintain the project plan throughout the project lifecycle

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

  • Effectively communicate and coordinate project expectations to team, clients and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, devise contingency plans and escalate as appropriate

  • Develop internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project

  • Build and maintain strong, healthy client relationships

  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

  • Manage and mitigate product risk

  • Position product support, account management teams and client for successful transition to inbound and outbound support processes.

  • Manage Go To Market Plan and Strategy and Product Launch

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive level presence and experience in facilitation

  • Understanding of RealPage products and services preferred (5-7 years of experience with RealPage products)

  • An integral understanding of the property management industry, both at corporate and property levels preferred

  • Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously

  • Ability to understand and manage client expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to influence client opinions and actions

  • Collaborative and consultative work style

  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments

  • Ability to take ownership of projects assigned with successful delivery

  • Ability to recognize and escalate issues and risks as deemed necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed (may be required)

  • Ability to travel as required by project (typically 10% to 20% nationwide)

  • PMI or PPM certified preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree preferred

  • 7-10 years of enterprise level project management

  • Proficient knowledge in Windows, MS Office (specifically Word and Excel)
