Steward Health Care System Remote HIM Clinical Document Coordinator in Richardson, Texas
The HIM Clinical Document Coordinator shall design, promote standardization and monitor facility clinical documents for all facilities. The position will assist hospitals in maintaining regulatory compliance (CMS, DNV, HHS, etc.) with respect to clinical documents.
The HIM Clinical Document Coordinator shall receive facility document requests and new admission document packets. The position shall develop clinical documents to fulfill standardization initiatives. The position will work directly with the Director of HIM Innovation, Standardization & Training.
The Coordinator shall validate request elements prior to image uploads and maintain electronic document catalog for all facilities. The position shall support the Corporate Command Center when a hospital converts to a new electronic health record, as well as, support hospitals and/or clinics onsite while leading projects. The position shall interface daily with an information technology ticket system and be expected to openly communicate with requesting parties daily. The position will report to the Director of HIM Innovation, Standardization & Training.
Education and Experience:
2-year degree from an accredited college or university required.
1-3 years Medical Record or Information Systems experience required.
Candidate must display a superior knowledge in information technology.
Candidate must display excellent customer service skills and be responsible for end user communication through the form request process.
