SUMMARY: Software Engineer in Semiconductor Manufacturing Description We are looking for a software developer to be a part of the New Product and New Semiconductor Technology Process Flow team. This team is in charge of the application and infrastructure which allow us to automate the creation and maintenance of new GaAs, GaN, and BAW semiconductor Integrated Circuits. The team is responsible for the application end to end - from backend database design to the Business Process workflow that governs the routing, web form, and business rule behavior of a newly created Product and/or Technology. RESPONSIBILITIES: Gather business requirements from the user community Specify, plan, design, develop, and test new software Responsible for implementation of new software or enhancements to existing software Develop and update process documents and training materials Support users in engineering (troubleshoot issues, coach & mentor users, etc.) Monitors work progress against schedule commitments QUALIFICATIONS: BS or higher degree in Computer Science 3+ years experience in large-scale software deployments Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Angular and other web technologies Hands-on experience in data modeling using normalization concepts for large databases Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience Experience in process improvement and change management Experience in large-scale software deployments Excellent communication skills required Knowledge of Semiconductor wafer processing a plus MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVO: We are Qorvo.
