SAMSUNG HVAC Sales Engineer in ROANOKE, Texas

In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:  Foster strong relationships with key executives in order to successfully position Quietside s products  Manage communications, sales promotion development, and training as required to stimulate and facilitate the sale of Quietside solutions Sales Engineer Page  Establish high-level as well as tactical relationships with field sales, marketing and product teams  Work closely with internal and external teams responsible for technical support and operations to prioritize new requirements into sales solutions  Domestic and International Travel required as needed Background/Experience: To qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:  Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required with a high school education or verifiable GED  Minimum of 5 years Sales Engineer experience with previous experience and success selling technical solutions HVAC industry preferred  Strong presentation skills  Demonstrated capability in successfully working with cross functional teams  Self-starter and very capable on both business and technical fronts Necessary Skills/Attributes: For this position the following skills and abilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level:  Very strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills  Proven ability to build and manage account relationships  Mature understanding of building, launching, and operating solutions  Strong PowerPoint skills  Ability to manage simultaneous high profile programs to completion  Comfortable with presenting in front of customers and business executives  Ability to work collaboratively across global, cross functional teams  Entrepreneurial, highly motivated and able to think proactively  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to facilitate meetings and develop relationships with external and internal organizations  Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside of the company  Comprehensive knowledge of technical product, marketing and sales lifecycles Sales Engineer Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:  Operate a computer keyboard, telephone and view a video display terminal more than 90% of work time  Visual acuity, color distinction, and numeric and character detail distinction for the analysis and preparation of statistical reports and information  Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to 25 pounds using proper material handling equipment and procedures  Occasionally work additional hours beyond normal schedule  Ability to travel as needed both (Domestic and International)
