Baylor Scott & White Health Regional Director Radiology in Round Rock, Texas
A Regional Director of Radiology is needed for the Baylor Scott & White Round Rock - Austin Market. This role will oversee the radiology operations currently for 4 facilities. A unique and challenging role for this growing market, we are seeking a dynamic leader who has experience leading within a large scope of responsibility. Someone who has experience leading start-up operations within imaging services and can do so with an innovative approach.
The Regional Director plans, organizes, oversees and directs the operational activities and functions of the Departments of Radiology on multiple hospital, imaging center, and/or clinic campuses across a geographic region. This individual is responsible for oversight of the Radiology Leadership team for the provision of 24/7 patient care services, budget and personnel management, staff and physician relationships, marketing and development of new programs, development of imaging services for new facilities and regional expansion in accordance with the mission of Baylor Scott & White.
Provides leadership, direction, organization and management in the coordination of the activities of a regional multidisciplinary team, including clerical, nursing, and technical activities.
Creates a regional environment that fosters high morale, employee satisfaction, and loyalty. Establishes and achieves employee satisfaction scores using prescribed metrics while fostering staff engagement consistent with Baylor Scott & White Mission and Vision.
Provides input/support for the development and adherence to established budget. Assures area of responsibility functions within budgeted expectations.
Participates with Division and Regional Leadership in the development of short and long term capital budgets and capital needs planning. Contributes input into the selection and purchase of capital equipment in a fiscally responsible and professional manner .Accepts and supports Baylor Scott & White decisions for vendor selection. Champions Imaging Capital changes in technology, equipment end of life concerns, competitive and technological equipment obsolescence.
Provides administrative oversight for the Radiation Safety programs within the Region working effectively with the Divisional Office of Radiation Safety and the local Radiation Safety Committee(s).
An effective participant of the strategic planning team(s) for the Region to assure the space, equipment, staffing needs and regulatory requirements of imaging are addressed as functional aspects of all growth strategy projects. Provides oversight and is an active participant in imaging growth, expansion, equipment replacement, and construction activities and projects.
The ideal Regional Imaging Director candidate is someone who is able to coordinate the various functions related to Radiology Services at the regional level. This individual must be able to work with the Radiology Vice President of the division and the Vice President of Operations at the facilities on strategic planning that relates to Radiology and Imaging Services.

Master's Degree preferred
Radiologic Technology, Healthcare administration, Business Administration or related fields.
5 years' experience managing complex multisite healthcare environments. Experience managing radiology operations in a multi-campus facility is preferred.
Certified Radiology Administrator is preferred.
