Job Description

Adjunct faculty on the San Antonio campus, starting in Fall 2018. The successful candidate will teach both lower and upper level undergraduate courses. Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day or night classes or online courses.

Work hours depend on course schedule.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Sociology from a regionally accredited institution.

  • Willingness to work in cooperation with members of the university community and the broader community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in sociology from a regionally accredited institution.

  • Experience teaching sociology at a higher education institution

  • Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.

  • Experience in culturally diverse settings.
