Sirius Computer Solutions Analyst, Cloud Services - Cloud Platform Specialist in San Antonio, Texas

Position Summary

The Analyst, Cloud Services - Cloud Platform Specialist is a client, sales and partner facing, role that provides operational oversight and execution of the Sirius Cloud Strategy while being a solution advocate for Sirius’ clients, leveraging key cloud partners and vendors. This role is responsible for enabling cloud architects and sellers to leverage the cloud technologies aligned with the Sirius Cloud Strategy. This person will have a strong understanding of cloud vendor programs and how they are maximized and executed across our sales teams and clients.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Client Facing Sales Support – Work with sales account and technical teams, interfacing directly with clients as necessary to understand clients’ business challenges and propose vendor programs and solutions to address business challenges and maximize value

  • Partner Relationship Support – Develop healthy and trusted relationships with cloud Partner Development Managers, Partner Technology Strategists, Cloud Solution Sales Specialists and key Account Executives of mutual clients

  • Operational Oversight & Execution – Work with operations and incentive teams to adopt, maintain and/or change business processes to ensure partner program utilization is maximized while minimizing friction for sellers and clients. Act as the focal person for cloud program knowledge, support, and execution of program related tasks

  • Opportunity Registration and Tracking – Work with sales account teams, operations team and vendors to ensure registrations and reporting are accurate and drive co-sell activities to increase credibility with clients and vendors to capitalize on Sirius cloud and hybrid products and solution sales. Proactively monitor pipeline, opportunity registrations, funding opportunities, claims and credits.

  • Marketing Campaign Execution – Execute marketing campaign initiatives that align with Sirius Cloud Strategies and vendor go to market strategies to drive mutual goals while providing industry leading solutions for Sirius’ clients.

  • Technical and Sales Enablement – Execute technical and sales enablement activities to ensure technical and sales teams are skilled to fully leverage partner and vendor programs. Prioritize competency and technical certifications to align with Sirius Cloud Strategies

  • Travel – Travel will be minimal for this role. Travel to/from corporate events, cloud marketing events, enablement activities, vendor events, strategic clients as needed

  • Training – Ongoing professional education to enhance skills, operations, and project management

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent work experience and certifications

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in technology operations, involved in the full life cycle from need to adoption.

Other Position Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate Sirius Cloud Strategies

  • Experience in Sales support

  • Experience performing project management tasks and oversight

  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, including formal and informal presentations to large and small audiences

  • Proven experience articulating technical viewpoints to diverse audiences, including technical and business decision makers

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical and sales skills/knowledge transfer to sales and technical resources

  • Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail and follow-up skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
