Clerk I - 1st Shift

Do you enjoy working in a warehouse environment, processing orders, maintaining inventory and have shipping clerk experience? We are looking for someone with data entry experience, microsoft office experience, warehouse experience and that has attention to detail. Responsibilities

Description:

1st Shift Clerk

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm M-F

Occasional weekends and overtime.

Must be detail oriented.

Able to stand/walk on concrete floor for long hours.

Safety shoes required.

Able to work in fast paced warehouse environment.

Experience with MS Office Suite preferred.

• Process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Perform data entry tasks

• Research and correct transaction errors

• Handle domestic and international shipping documents

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Skills
