Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner for Conduent, in partnership with HR leadership, is responsible for creation and refinement of strategic workforce plans required to support the overall business strategy and the collaborative execution of those plans together with the executive leadership team. Areas of focus include succession planning, talent management, transformation and change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, employee communication and compensation.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Partner with Senior HR Leadership to develop strategic workforce plans and programs that align with Conduent's overall strategy and transformation objectives.

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the 3-year Conduent strategic transformation plan.

  • Function as a strategic business advisor and thought leader to the corporate functions' leaders (Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Legal) regarding key organizational, transformational and people related issues.

  • Working with the functional leaders, establish an overall talent plan including succession for all critical roles. Ensure alignment of the talent plan with the Conduent strategy and objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive selection and retention plans to meet the people needs of strategic goal to invest in our people.

  • Implement training and development tools and capabilities required to enable employees to attract and retain our people.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Delivery of Strategic Workforce plan & impact on business results, Talent Development, Employee Engagement Survey, Diversity, productivity, labor cost management, consistent and aligned people practices.

Education/ Work Experience

  • This position requires a high energy, visionary, and strategic HR manager with a minimum of 8 years of work experience, ideally working in complex, matrixed organizations.

  • This candidate must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment and able to act and react quickly to the needs of the transforming business.

  • The ideal candidate will have corporate functions experience and ideally transformation, turn around or start-up experience.

  • Previous experience working with global employee population highly desirable.

  • The selected individual must be able to work with a variety of organizational leaders to build consensus around HR strategy and tactics, have a demonstrated background in talent management, and have a proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent and assemble and motivate high performance teams in a matrix organizational structure.

  • Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills as well as proven organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university.

  • MBA/MA/PHR or SPHR preferred.

  • Travel as appropriate to implement strategic HR initiatives approximately 15%.
