Six Flags Human Resources Generalist – Recruiting & Employment (Tier 2) in San Antonio, Texas
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
This a Tier 2 position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. It features an hourly rate starting at $15.00/hour with a generous benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (Vacation, Bereavement, and Jury Duty), Bonus Paid Time Off potential, 401k with matching and a minimum average of 32+ hours per week offered and expected on a year-round basis with flexible scheduling.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is searching for a Talent Acquisition Guru to lead in the recruitment and hiring of specialized top talent for our park. This individual should be a skilled, motivated recruiter that can help source and secure new team members for various departments. Ideal candidate is a high-energy, strong communicator with a knack for engaging experienced professionals.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Leading the Employment Center Team reach staffing goals
Sourcing candidates, using effecting outreach techniques
Communicating with candidates via e-mail and phone
Facilitating background checks
Processing I-9 documents
Tracking staffing levels and posting jobs on a timely basis
Scheduling Employment Center Staff to meet
Represent Six Flags Fiesta Texas at recruiting events and establish our park as a top employer of choice
Identifying and Communicating trends, shortfalls and milestones
Any other tasks within the scope of Human Resources, Employment Center or park operation
WHAT YOU NEED:
1+ year experience in Human Resources or Recruiting preferred, but not required
Familiarization of UltiPro/UKG, Optim8, Smartsheets, and Sterling preferred, but not required
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment
Be at least 18 years of age (Tier 2)
Friendly, outgoing personality, and the desire to interact with candidates
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format
Must be able to work a schedule averaging 32+ hour per week
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Be available to work most weekends and holidays, as well as evenings
Be flexible and adaptable to change, as well as interested in your own growth and development
May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
