Job Summary

Serving as the first point of contact for internal employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email. Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Internal employee’s seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

  • Supporting Windows desktop (OS 7/8/10).

  • Break fix work on computers, replace parts, work on hardware, troubleshoot software, assist customers via remote support, and provide system administration.

  • Should be able to support Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, outlook, all major web browsers, printers.

  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services

  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Requires a high school diploma with 2 years of desktop support in an Enterprise.

  • Proven experience as an IT technician or other customer support role

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

  • Proficiency in English

  • CompTIA+ and A+ certifications preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
