Lead, Technology Solutions (Clinical UM)

The Lead, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities

The Lead will be a key member of the team charged with being the out-front, strategic technology partner for Humana's clinical business areas including Clinical Operations (focusing on Utilization management), clinical product and strategy organizations. Highly skilled with broad, advanced experience and scope of the role will include:

  • Leading Utilization Management IT strategy efforts including defining and maintaining legacy Clinical application and new (Salesforce) platform roadmaps

  • Leading IT intake and prioritization efforts for the Utilization Management work stream in partnership with our Clinical business partners

  • Leading UM IT solution conversations with Principal and Solution architects (could include evaluation of new vendors/integrations)

  • Leading capacity and budget management efforts for upcoming quarterly releases/program increments for the UM IT delivery teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

  • 8 or more years of technical experience in large IT projects

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience using Agile and SAFe delivery practices and methodologies

  • Experience working with Salesforce and related technologies

Lead, Technology Solutions (Clinical UM) will report to the Director, Clinical Technology Product Strategy and Solutions
