Visionworks is currently hiring for a top notch individual to work in our headquarters located in San Antonio, Texas for the position of Managed Vision Care Customer Service Representative. The Representative will serve as point of contact for Visionworks Retail Stores and Customers on all Managed Vision Care related matters. Additionally, they will resolve questions and provide pertinent information to Visionworks Retail Associates and Customers regarding vision insurance plans.

**Summary of Responsibilities:

  1. Answer incoming calls to the Visionworks Managed Vision Care Help Line regarding vision insurance plans.

  2. Support the Visionworks locations by providing information and appropriate solutions to any Managed Vision Care questions or challenges.

  3. Respond to the Managed Vison Care customer's refund and vision benefit inquiries, insure that refunds and benefit reinstatements are executed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of our customers.

  4. Review patient billing inquires with Visionworks customers and accept payments when applicable.

  5. Create itemized statements for Visionworks Customers to support FSA and patient filing needs.

  6. Keep records of all customer interactions by documenting all calls in the Service Now system.

**Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

**Experience & Background:

  • Up to two (2) years of retail or customer service experience

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Access skills

  • Ability to input 45 words per minute and 10-key punch by touch

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
