The overall purpose of the Marketing Director is to enhance facility census in a proactive, professional manner and to assume responsibility of internal facility census growth by promoting the highest level of confidence in each facility.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
2 years or more long term care or related health care experience may be substituted for the college requirements. Self-Disciplined – able to work independently
Excellent communication and people skills. Organized , Bi-lingual a plus Demographic Knowledge RN or LVN License required Essential Functions
Provide month end report to Marketing Director Maintain weekly referral log Will handle all assessments for referrals, if a nurse is needed one will travel with you. If the assessment is done at home you must be accompanied by someone. Attend all stand-up meetings with administrator if possible Attain a full knowledge and history of each facility Must know long term care standards especially Medicare and Medicaid with regards to admissions. Must know facility admission policies Become acquainted with all Discharge Planners, Medical clinics, Senior Citizens Programs, Ombudsman, and “Area on Aging Council” in each community. Participate in facility open-house and community activities Duties as directed by Marketing Director Maintains compliance with requirements in compliance program/plan These duties are not all-inclusive but provide minimum performance expectations!
