Job Core Responsibilities: The Production Sprayer is responsible for spraying pain products using technologically advanced, state of the art equipment. Use of multi-component priming and top-coat applicants. Adjust the application process, equipment, and materials being applied to achieve the target appearance as specified by application inspection tools, color targets, production specifications, and verbal instructions. Perform daily "housekeeping duties" specified as part of daily Production Painter activity; including, but not limited to, sweeping, wiping, and discarding waste. Set up, clean, and/or replace booth filters, saw horses, etc., which are specified as part of daily Production Painter activity. Skills: Job Specifications - Experience: 1-3 years of experience with previous spray-painting production environments. Experience in spray-painting and ability to train others. Familiarity with hazardous waste handling/procedures. Careful and thorough applications; detail-oriented. The ability to read, understand, communicate, and interpret written and verbal instructions. The ability to perform the physical aspects of the job (lifting, bending, wiping, and standing in place) for periods of up to 10 or 12 hours. The ability and desire to learn finishing technology. An ability and willingness to work with paint products. A commitment to team success through reliable attendance.
