Humana Release Management Lead - Salesforce Health Cloud Implementation in San Antonio, Texas


The Lead, Release Management manage cross-organizational efforts required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. The Lead, Release Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.


Location: work at home anywhere

The Release Management Lead - Salesforce Health Cloud Implementation is responsible for ensuring all changes are delivered to end users while maintaining the integrity and availability of the Salesforce Health Cloud platform. Communicates release expectations across all impacted users. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • Responsible for program management of Enterprise Clinical Operating Model technology (ECOM) program

  • Responsible for overall release management onto the Salesforce Health Cloud platform for ECOM, YHA, and Pharmacy technology teams for both configured and developed items

  • Clinical Release Manager for ECOM will report to this position; YHA and Pharmacy release managers will coordinate closely with this position but not directly report to it

  • Success in this position will drive improved experiences for Humana associates directly working with our members and provider partners and serve to increase organizational agility to respond to new and evolving business needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7 or more years of project and/or release management or program management experience

  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience

  • Experience with IT DevOps concepts

  • Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Effective analytical skills

  • Advanced written and verbal communication

  • General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AzureDevOps to manage the release cycle

  • PMP

  • Prior management experience

  • SAFe or other agile certifications

  • ADX-201 Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Master’s degree of Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science or a related field
