Position Summary The overall responsibility of this position is shipping, stocking, receiving and delivery of materials. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Loading and unloading of trucks Receiving and checking accuracy of inventory received from vendors Stock and restock inventory/materials Assist customers Pulling orders with 100% accuracy and package safely to load on trucks Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and yard Using various moving equipment to handle large materials Ensure forklifts are kept in good and safe working conditions Must be friendly and professional when working with customers and co-workers Responsible for UPS Shipments May be asked to make customer deliveries (non-CDL) Any other duties deemed necessary by the Branch Manager Experience/Skills/Abilities Excellent customer service skills Must be able to work within a team environment Must be able to operate a forklift Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions Must be able to operate a computer Valid driver license to make local deliveries Work Environment & Physical Demands Ability to handle physically demanding manual work Must be able to work in a warehouse environment (inside/outside) Must be able to lift 60+ pounds on a regular basis Lifting, standing, reaching and climbing is required on an ongoing basis Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred EEO/AA/m/f/vets/disabled Fortiline is an equal opportunity employer.
