We actively seek a Regional Marketing Director for our NAMER South, Southwest Region. This role can be based anywhere in our South, Southwest Region.

Position Summary

Our idea candidate can lead our Field Marketing for a key strategic region in North America through Rimini Street’s next phase of growth from $300 million to $1 billion. We seek a sales-oriented, exceedingly skilled field marketing expert who is experienced building pipeline and revenue in all regions of North America. If you have the strategic depth, local market experience, marketing DNA and execution skills required to help drive this next phase of growth, this role may be your next exciting opportunity!

As the Regional Marketing Director, you will grow and lead a strategic region to build and execute integrated marketing plans that drive pipeline and revenue goals for a North America region and for the overall organization, while also building the Rimini Street brand. You will closely partner with our field sales, sales development, retention, client engagement and corporate marketing teams to drive integrated plans and execution across functions and the region.

As the key link between corporate and North America field operations, you will ensure strong integration and communication between teams, consistent messaging, unified branding and effective leverage of corporate tools, campaigns and deliverables across the North America region you are responsible for.

This role reports directly to the General Manager and is a tremendous opportunity to make a huge, direct impact on the success of Rimini Street’s aggressive growth objectives.

Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of successfully building and leading field marketing campaigns, collaboratively setting strategic plans and effectively driving successful execution to achieve objectives. This seasoned member of the marketing team will be a strong expert and influencer with experience across the diverse set of capabilities required to ensure team more than achieves its goals, including demand generation, digital and physical events, content marketing, public and analyst relations, brand development, creative, digital marketing, B2B marketing, and thought leadership campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define the North America Field Marketing strategy for your assigned region

  • Collaborate and effectively work with an experienced Field Marketing team to achieve identified objectives

  • Work closely with the Marketing leadership team to define the strategic objectives for all of marketing and build strong working relationships based on trust and delivery with the broader team

  • Manage marketing budget and program performance to ensure achievement of business targets while maximizing value within defined budgets

  • Build and lead innovative and effective field marketing programs and share best practices across regions to continuously improve globally

  • Partner with senior Sales leadership to develop aligned goals, a tightly integrated plan and clear roles and responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, and visual expressions across corporate, product, partner, and customer communications in the field

  • Drive overall brand event experience in collaboration with our events team for all online and digital events, industry tradeshows, regional and local field events, and annual conferences

  • Collaborate with PR, AR, social media, creative, content marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and customer marketing to drive key campaigns

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 10+ years of B2B field marketing experience required

Skills

Solid integrated marketing function mastery, excellent leadership and influencing skills, strong project management, especially around promoting cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment, while driving a discipline of data-driven marketing ROI tracking and measurement.

  • Enterprise software/services industry experience highly desired

  • Highly motivated and committed field marketing expert with management experience including setting the vision for a region, driving towards goals, and offering development and mentoring

  • Proven track record in driving significant pipeline and revenue growth through effective field marketing activities

  • Solid track record for generating successful campaigns across all channels

  • Proactive and outgoing with a get-it-done attitude.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and can be equally effective in both formal and informal settings with customers, senior executives, peers and business partners

  • Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong influencer presence, solid track record of strategic accomplishments in companies experiencing rapid growth and expansion where constant challenges are the norm.

  • Strategic, highly self-motivated individual who enjoys working under limited supervision

  • Tenacious problem solver with a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed. Strong drive to action and results orientation

  • Creative marketer with strong written, editing and oral communication skills

  • Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Ability to work and communicate with varied groups including executive management, customers, media, and internal teams

  • Ability to effectively convey Rimini Street offerings and value propositions in a clear manner through written and verbal means.

  • Demonstrated lead generation results that translated into sales revenue

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and produce results in a start-up environment

  • Understand how to leverage technology in marketing processes, including marketing automation, salesforce, Microsoft office, and similar tools
