We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Plant Operator in our Permian Resources group based in Sheffield, Texas.

Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for starting and stopping various equipment including gas compressors, various pumps, glycol dehydration equipment, generators, air compressors etc.

Monitoring and maintaining equipment and processes including watching for developing problems and trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions

Taking daily readings, recording, doing morning reports

Make adjustments to equipment as needed by the board operator

Operating the plant via a Delta V control system (board operator) & making adjustments as needed, responding to upset conditions, maintaining specifications required for the methane sales gas and CO2 gas streams

Assisting maintenance personnel with equipment PMs & repairs

Performing inspections & PM work on safety equipment

Performing analysis on various fluid streams

Making out work orders for repairs, ordering parts, processing invoices. Assisting with scheduling and work completion

Maintaining records & documentation for OSHA and Oxy rule compliance Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Self Motivated, ambitious, able to work without supervision

Desired Qualifications

5 years oilfield experience Experience in plant operations Delta V operating system experience (or other digital control system experience) Experience reading P&IDs Computer skills; Windows 7, Microsoft office, Maximo Compression experience Refrigeration systems experience Glycol dehydration experience Working with H2S removal processes Mechanical background or maintenance experience (trouble shooting skills) Knowledge or awareness of process safety management law (PSM) OSHA 1910.119 Standard safety training including lock out/tag out, H2S awareness, hot work, safe work permitting, job hazard analysis, confined space entry, first aid/CPR, respiratory fit testing and others
