KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties FAB
- Perform various operations associated with the processing of VCSEL wafers and product test assemblies: photolithography (coat/develop, stepper, Karl Suss, Photo inspect), Plasma (RIE, oxidation, LAM, Gasonics), Metal (TEM, MRC, RTA, PECVD), Wafer Dicing, Test Board assembly, and Test
Characterization (IR Scope, Alphastep, wet process)
Participate actively in the preventive maintenance program.
Participate actively with the engineers in the continuous improvement of existing processes.
Be an active member of the team and meet the requirements to ensure the effective and efficient transfer of wafers into large volume manufacturing.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
One to three threes experience working in a semiconductor processing cleanroom environment.
Experience processing II-VI materials is a big plus.
A High School diploma as a minimum is required.
An associate degree would be preferred in the related fields: electrical engineering/material science or equivalent knowledge/ experience in this field.
Strong interpersonal/teaming skills, able to communicate with both engineering and operators.
Read, understand, and speak English. Good written communication (memos) and verbal communications skills (listening...) Read, comprehend and follow process specifications and safety rules.
Have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of product quality.
Be able to perform repetitive tasks and have manual dexterity.
Be able to manage time and attendance.
Take work directions from others.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Mechanical/Electrical aptitude would be a plus.
