Texas Pride Fuels, Ltd. Office Clerk in Springtown, Texas

Purpose: Keep files and documents organized for the organization. The Office Clerk will work closely with our Accounting and Operations team to do routine tasks like data entry, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying and retrieval

Employment and Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • Full time: 8 AM ? 5 PM

  • Temporary position (Est. 60 ? 90 days)

  • Possibility to move to full time permanent position based on performance, organizational need and economic factors.

Essential Duties: (may include but are not limited to)

  • Maintain the filing system for Texas Pride Fuels.

  • File invoices and other documents in an organized fashion based on procedures provided by management.

  • Adjust the company?s filing system to provide the most efficiency and accuracy, with the approval of management.

  • Read and scan materials to determine how and where they should be filed.

  • Perform general duties such as typing and operating office equipment.

  • Receiving and sorting of mail.

  • Occasional greeting of visitors and vendors in a professional manner.

  • Occasional answering and routing of phone calls.

  • Monitoring supplies inventory and communicating necessary items to appropriate personnel.

  • Preparing outgoing mail, Fed Ex for pick-up and monitoring postage meter.

  • Provide general administrative and technical assistance including copying, faxing, printing, distribution of documents, filing and data entry.

  • Does post office and bank runs when needed.

  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

  • Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED. (Required)

  • Experience with various office equipment.

  • Experience with Microsoft office preferred.

  • Sensitivity to confidential information.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Must be a proven team player.

  • Experience in dealing with government auditors.

  • Ability to speak, write and read the English language.

  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.

  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.

  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.

  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug and background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for long periods of time.

  • Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch.

  • Able to carry up to 20 lbs.
