Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the personalized living function within a community

  • Provide direct management of all Personalized Living staff; to include coaching, counseling, disciplining and completing performance evaluations

  • Work with residents and families to develop plan of care to meet the needs for the resident

  • Coordinate alternative resources for associates and families

  • Coordinate orientation for all new Personalized Living associates

*Senior Care Experience and knowledge of memory care/senior disease progression.

*Leadership/Supervisory experience- even if not in nursing.

*Customer Service- can do attitude/philosophy- say yes.

*Business Acumen- ability to grasp financials and set revenue goals in collaboration with RDO of PL and ED.

*Marketing/Outreach-passion to get to know residents/families-to go beyond the need based services and also support resident want/desires.

*Collaborative Communication style- ability to engage with all department heads and be a champion of PL in community.

*24/7 accountability to the business (we love those that have run their own business even if not in homecare arena)

*Ability to multi task and be flexible to meet the needs of residents, associates, families and other BKD leaders.

*Ability to function productively in a matrix reporting structure allowing the RDO of PL to influence the program successfully.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • One year of prior supervisory or management experience

  • Current state Licensed Practical Nurse licensure preferred, but not required

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing), organizational and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of computer and MS Office Suite to include Word and Outlook required
