Summary About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Review serious disciplinary actions involving nonsupervisory subordinates. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization with subordinate supervisors to ensure accomplishment of the organization's functions. Plan allocation of resources and the distribution of work to subordinate supervisors. Ensure quality assurance requirements are maintained and met for completing the depot's mission on projects dealing with weapon systems. Make recommendations for improvement to methods of accomplishing work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Making recommendations for process improvements and efficiency 2) Monitoring quality programs and organizations for compliance 3) Reviewing, developing and evaluating operating quality assurance policies for organization. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
