The Territory Development Manager (TDM) reports to the District Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager and is primarily responsible for a sales position with one primary focus and multiple responsibilities: identifying new prospects then soliciting, selling and ensuring proper placement of product in retail outlets. The Territory Development Manager will work develop, strengthen and maximize new and existing opportunities with buyers. The Territory Development Manager will have a base revenue and incremental sales goal to achieve annually.
Location and Travel:The employee will work in Dallas, Texas and travel by car, everyday, meeting with customers.

Position Responsibilities 1. Develop and maintain an organized list of target accounts in the territory 2. Sell our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors & brokers 3. Call on target accounts on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities 4. Enhance the business, brand visibility, and availability by gaining new distribution 5. Educate account managers on proper and effective merchandising 6. Rack, restock, build displays, and POS placements 7. Manage, build and move displays and/or product to establish best location for sales on all company products as necessary in assigned stores 8. Creative presentation/public speaking and premium selling skills are a must 9. Innovative and creativity in approaching accounts and expanding business 10. Use of IRI and market data to develop sales presentations to secure sales and distribution in local market accounts. 11. Provide precise sales forecast and build gap plan for underperformer accounts. 12. Ability to formulate account strategies and execute against them 13. Analyzes monthly sales reports to identify opportunities, assess underperforming accounts or potential loss of distribution within the account.

• High school Diploma and 2 years of outside sales experience • Previous territory sales management experience required
