L3Harris is actively seeking for an Inventory Management Support Associate that will be responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution at our facility located in Waco, TX for a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on receiving line.
Lifts heavy items and operates material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissorlifts, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.
Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement
Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.
Quality conscious with accurate counting ability.
Willing to be flexible to changing priorities.
Strong customer focus.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
Proficient in Microsft Office programs.
